How it works
- We look at the device with you at the counter and find out what has actually failed.
- You get the price before anything is opened. If we find something else inside, we stop and call you.
- Most phone work is finished in the same visit. Computers and consoles are left with us, because testing one properly takes longer than the repair.
- If the honest answer is that it is not worth doing, you are told that, and it costs you nothing.

Before you come in
- Back the device up if it still powers on, and bring the passcode — a device that cannot be unlocked cannot be tested afterwards.
- If it has been in liquid: power it off, do not charge it, and bring it the same day. Charging a wet board is what turns a recoverable device into a write-off.
- Bring the charger with a laptop. A flat machine with no charger cannot be diagnosed, and the charger is sometimes the fault.
